The Search For Happiness
Just finished another read. This time, by a French author, Francois Lelord, titled “Hector and The Search for Happiness”. The book comes in a sizeable package, easy & delightfully light to carry around, overall an insightful and enjoyable read.

You cannot just create the culture you want in your organisation or family. It has to be influenced, and over time. I’ve seen how one tries to mandate the desired behaviour through ‘brutal agressiveness’ and ‘ridiculous reasoning’ in the current place i worked for … the end result only deem temporal, otherwise futile.

Cold Sore Killer
The previous time cold sore hit me, was a couple of years back. Horrid & embarrassing experience .. could hardly manage a kiss then. This dormant virus woke up yesterday and began its replication process on my lips again. Did a brief search on webbie, and alas, realised that there’s no cure for this virus after all!
Stress is claimed to be the main trigger for cold sores to break out....

It feels like Chinese New Year again. The recent impression was during my brother’s ROM last week. Mum announced miraculously that she’s cooking today, and all the 3 couples flocked home obediently to feast. All ate and indulged in their lovely dovey pairs..me too - Me & TV.

Why is it that females have to bear the brunt of most household chores? Is it just so, that males, like my brother, are just so genetically born not to touch dust, being even able to run scott free each time by hibernating in his den? Feels Soul Good
It has been a long-held belief that thriftiness is a well-sought virtue & a behaviour pleasing to the elders - my mum, for instance. For sure, frugality definitely doesn’t work on me, particulary on what I deemed as good purchases. It was an accidental-day-of-Splurging today & of which has been obscenely gratifying. Got my second pair of Aldo heels, underpants & a working blouse....
