Feels Soul Good
It has been a long-held belief that thriftiness is a well-sought virtue & a behaviour pleasing to the elders - my mum, for instance. For sure, frugality definitely doesn’t work on me, particulary on what I deemed as good purchases. It was an accidental-day-of-Splurging today & of which has been obscenely gratifying. Got my second pair of Aldo heels, underpants & a working blouse. Happy. To top it off my glorious purchases, Aldo came into my possession at 15% credit card discount; 3 underpants (of the same quality, if not better, than La Senza) at a sales promo with Marks & Spencer, having about 10 bucks shaved off the retail price; blouse with Naf Naf at 20% VIP birthday month discount. Oh did I mention, we ladies do shop with brains & lucidity after all? We absolutely do not shop like our gender counterparts at large, do we? For some I know, they swiped off the shelves on the pretext that they loathe the crowd & hassle. Either, they glady part with their fortune & probably secure much self-esteem, after being smittened with the sales girls’ baseless claims & perhaps, something else?
Well, my shopping journey continues …
