Broadband Wrath
There are alot of bad people and evil things in this universe, like Osama, sickness, parsley, landlords and apnns. Of the last couple of hours, Singnet broadband has made its way to the top of my list.
Under today’s broadband-ubiquitous environment, the flow of most digital content or distribution were made easy and probably the key factor to activating new industries and in the least, to enhance our lives further. Long gone are the days of cables and Lan plugins. Broadband is almost the biggest invention of the century, next to Bill Gates’ Microsoft or Steve Jobs’ Apple.
For the longest time, I’ve plegded my loyalty to Singnet broadband .. 3 blardy years. This is so despite of the influx of adverts and teasers from other broadband networks, trying to lure me to sign up, withpromises of better prizes and perks. And it really isn’t so much of me being such a staunch believer with Singnet, but more so of me being lazy to do the switch, honestly.
And so it was, I deserved all the disconnectivity for like more than 5 times just for the night .. supremely annoying particularly when I was trying to kick off some decent msn chats, watching my stream-video online & having to refresh that ONE page several times while doing my research. Never have I felt so interrupted and disserviced for such breakdowns. And for God’s sake, I’m a prompt paying customer.
Then just an hour ago, I was informed by SC that she uses Singnet too, and its problem-free for her. I prefer to think, she’s just so lucky (“,) and Singet still sux for me.
So my contract officially ended last month. Was in much of a dilemna .. sign up with a new network and earn the perks or just simply scrape the *hassle and continue living with Singnet?
Hassle = Research, comparisons, queuing up, installation, configuration, etc
Obviously, i’m still with Singnet today. They gave me a slight discount off my monthly bills for the next one year.
Screw me lor! I better get used to all these disconnectivity for another 1 year or pray hard for any perks or rewards/more rebates/discount vouchers from Singnet during this contractual period, else I will be very pissed!
